Welcome to my website. I‘m Christine Towndrow a digital illustrator specialising in urban scenes and the natural world. I also like designing using folkart elements. I have an approachable, minimalist, graphic style. I’m based in Chester UK.

A little about me.​ I’ve loved drawing since I was a child and enjoyed art all through school. I went into teaching but ill health unfortunately meant I had to stop. So gradually I took up art again, first as a freelance graphic designer and now as an illustrator. I work on my iPad using an Apple Pencil in my home office where I’m frequently interrupted by my cheeky black and white cat Samson!​​
